SECTION 331.1: COURSE SYLLABUS

Each course taught at NDSU shall have a syllabus to provide course information for students and to fulfill federal and other legal requirements.
The following categories of information shall be included on all syllabi:
- Course prefix, number, and title
- Instructor and contact information
- Course description
- Course objectives
- Evaluation procedures and criteria
- Course schedule/outline/calendar of events
- Required student resources
- American Disabilities Act statement about students with special needs
- Approved academic honesty statement. This may be a statement of a college honor code or the following:
All work in this course must be completed in a manner consistent with NDSU University Senate Policy, Section 335: Code of Academic Responsibility and Conduct (http://www.ndsu.nodak.edu/policy/335.htm).
Syllabi presented on web pages shall contain the date of last update.
