SECTION 802: State Supported Agreements

When a sponsored agreement is received from a state agency, the Office of Grant and Contract Accounting will contact the state agency about the source of funding provided by the state agency. If the state agency is using Federal money to support the project, the University must account for the funds as if they were Federal funds. Thus, the institution must adhere to all Federal guidelines and restrictions of the Federal agency supporting the state project.

If the state agency is supporting the project with state generated revenue, only those regulations imposed by the state agency will apply.
