NDSU students swell with Bison Pride. Our mascot, Thundar, cheers on the Thundering Herd at football games in the FargoDome, volleyball matches in the Bentson-Bunker Fieldhouse, and Basketball games in the Bison Sports Arena. The new Newman Outdoor Baseball Field is home of the NDSU Bison baseball team the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks baseball team. Other features in the Ellig Sports Complex are four softball diamonds, a soccer field and running track.

Students also use these facilities for wellness courses. The Bison Sports Arena, or BSA, has a weight room, track and pool for student use.
