Annual research funding has exceeded $100 million for four consecutive years, and the National Science Foundation ranks NDSU 127th among 640 research universities across the United States. Research at NDSU includes a wide range of topics from nanao-technology, homeland security and bioengineering, to visual neuroscience, plant breeding and much more. These projects offer opportunities for our students to mix the classroom knowledge with hands-on experience.
