Your living environment directly affects your academic performance.

All first year students are required to live on campus. Exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Amenities found in residence halls include coinless laundry, study lounges, computer clusters, cable TV, daily newspapers and internet access. Students with cars may purchase permits for designated lots in close proximity to their assigned halls.

Hall government allows students to influence decisions in their halls, improve the community and have fun. Involvement enhances the experience of living in the residence halls and provides valuable leadership skills.

NDSU's residence halls are safe, comfortable and clean. Housing options give you choices such as:
