Registration

Transfer students may register for classes at the same time as NDSU students. Registration times are assigned according to the number of credits earned at previous institutions. Registration usually begins in November for spring semester and April for the following summer and fall semesters. You are encouraged to complete admission as early as possible to ensure registration at these optimal times.

Once admitted, you receive a User I.D. This very important number is used to check your registration time and to register for classes using the Campus Connection.

Admitted students may register in person at the Office of Registration and Records, via Web registration or with an NDSU representative at select two-year school campuses. On-campus transfer student registration programs are planned for spring and fall semesters. Instructions for the various registration options are provided following admission.
