The Impact of Innovative Space Design on Teaching and Student Learning
In fall of 2012 classes moved into the newly built SCALE-UP (Student Centered Active Learning Environment for Undergraduate Programs) classroom at the University of North Dakota. Since then we've learned a lot about how this innovative, technology rich space that seats 180 students impacts teaching and student learning both in individual courses and programmatically. We'll share that experience, focusing on how best to help faculty and students prepare for and benefit from new learning environments.
Presenters: Dr. Anne Kelsch (Director, Office of Instructional Development, UND) and Dr. Brett Goodwin (Chair, Department of Biology)

The Pedagogical Luncheon series is sponsored by the Provost.
