Leuconycta diphteroides (Guenée)

Common name: listed here as ‘Green owlet.

Hodges #: 9065.

Identification: Rfw 15.3 mm, fw pattern mimics lichens, vestiture of thorax and legs of broad flat scales, antennae simple or fasciculate.

Similar species: 9066, 9619.

Distribution: southern Canada and temperate U. S., east of the great plains.

Hosts: Solidago spp.– goldenrods) and Aster spp.– Asters.
