I began rock climbing in the fall of 2008 and have climbed in fifteen different states so far. Included below are my favorites among the pics I've accumulated. Photos 1, 2, 3, and 6 were snapped by my extremely talented friend Brandon Hall.

I am the current faculty sponsor for the NDSU climbing club.

First Normal Form
Me terrified on my second outdoor sport climb ever, at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, AR back in Spring 2009. (In a few seconds I actually lose it and take a 25-foot fall!)

Horseshoes and Hand Grenades
Back at HCR a few years later. Probably the coolest I will ever look.

Hiking Under the Influence
My favorite falling pic.

Alamo Arete
Climbing "Alamo Arete" in my home state of Texas. There are rocks in Texas!!

Staying Power
"Staying Power" at Shelf Road, CO.

Crazy Alice
Leading "Crazy Alice," a classic 5.8 in the Wichita Mountains, in the traditional style.

Great Red Book
On the first pitch of "The Great Red Book," a stunning 300-footer in Las Vegas.

Devil's Tower 1 Devil's Tower 2
Before and after summiting the Durrance Route of Devil's Tower, one of the fifty classic climbs of North America, with the NDSU crew, 9/27/14.

Hour of Power
Leading "Hour of Power" in the Wichita Wildlife Refuge, July 2015.
