ACADEMIC DEAN'S LIST
To be eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List for any given semester, a student must have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 during that term while completing at least 12 semester hours (nine hours during the summer) in graded coursework using grades that carry honor points. The student may not have any grades of Incomplete for the semester. The Dean's List is only maintained for undergraduate students and professional (Pharm.D.) students.
Student names may not be listed if...
- the student has requested a FERPA privacy suppression which restricts the student's academic information from being released (which includes award notifications)
- the student has taken a course where the credit points earned do not count as honor points which results in the number of eligible credits with honor points being below the required minimum of 12 credits for the semester
- a grade change or late grade submission that impacted a student's Dean's List eligibility occurred after the Dean's List report was generated (NOTE: if a grade change alters a student's Dean's List eligibility, the change will be applied to the student's official record; an update to the web listing will be conducted after the grade change eligibility period has closed)
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS regarding an exclusion from the Dean's List, please contact the Office of Registration and Records and have the College Liaison for your major validate your Dean's List status. Dean's List status can also be found by viewing an unofficial transcript in Campus Connection.
