Document Imaging at NDSU

In an effort to reclaim physical work space, storage space, and take steps toward a goal of becoming a paperless office, the Office of Registration and Records--in partnership with the Office of Admission, the Graduate School, and Residence Life--launched a document imaging initiative that is now in full operation. Paper documents--like applications, forms, appeals, meeting minutes, and numerous others--are now scanned and converted into an electronic "image" that is stored on a server and can be easily searched for and retrieved by users. Even in its early stages, this document imaging project has resulted in considerable gains in physical space that was once occupied by filing cabinets and a noticeable reduction in the amount of paper used by the office.

This web page is meant to provide information related to NDSU's Document Imaging project for both active and interested campus departments as well as other external institutions that use or are interested in using ImageNow. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information about document imaging and how it is being used at NDSU.
