The Department of Residence Life supports students by providing a vibrant, healthy place to live and learn.
Residence Life is an Auxiliary Service at North Dakota State University. As such, no state appropriated money is received. Revenue received from room rental and apartment rent provides funding for current operations including but not limited to salaries & benefits, facility improvements & utilities, IT Communications, staff training, debt retirement and marketing.

Room Assignment and Move-In Information
The Room Assignment Process for new freshmen began in mid-April and will continue throughout the summer. Assignments are based on application received date, and notification of room assignments will be sent as assignments are made.
Move-In Days are Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25.
Summer Housing Applications Now Available
Applications for summer school housing are available for download. Students attending summer school or working on campus are eligible to stay in Living Learning Center East (regardless of age) during the summer break.
