PAVEK HALL GOVERNMENT POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
President:
Lead the Hall Government and Executive Board weekly meetings.
Attend weekly Residence Hall Assembly meetings.
Attend weekly Executive Board and Hall Government meetings.
Hold regular meeting with the Hall Director.
Vice President:
Oversee hall committees and communicate regularly with committee chairs.
Assume the duties of president in the event of the president’s temporary absence.
Attend weekly Executive Board and Hall Government meetings.
Treasurer:
Create and propose an annual budget.
Keep track of Hall Government finances.
Post budget updates on the Pavek Hall Government.
Attend weekly Executive Board and Hall Government meetings.
Hold regular meeting with the Hall Director.
Secretary:
Type the minutes of the Hall Government meeting (outline of what occurred), post a copy of meeting minutes on the Pavek Hall blackboard page.
Attend weekly Executive Board and Hall Government meetings.
Dining Services Rep:
Attend all Dining Services Committee meetings (generally once a month).
Serve as a liaison between Dining Services and the Pavek Hall Government.
Attend weekly Executive Board and Hall Government meetings.
Programming Council Rep:
Attend Programming Council Meetings where representatives plan large campus events.
Serve as a liaison between Pavek Hall Government and the Programming Council.
Attend weekly Executive Board and Hall Government meetings.
RHA Rep:
Represent the voice of Pavek Hall in Residence Hall Assembly meetings where all residence halls are represented.
Inform the Pavek Hall Government about the happenings of RHA and inform RHA about the happenings in Pavek.
Attend weekly RHA, Executive Board, and Hall Government meetings.
