SEIM HALL GOVERNMENT POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
President
Provides overall leadership to the Seim Hall Government. Duties include serving as a representative to RHA meetings (Mondays at 7 PM), preside over the weekly Seim Hall Government meetings and lead the executive team.
Vice-President
Provides support for president and serves as president in their absence. Duties include serving as RHA representative in the absence of one, chairing the annual Seim Hall “Egg”Stravaganza and leading other Hall Government initiated programming efforts within Seim Hall.
Secretary
Manages all necessary communication, records weekly minutes at Seim Hall Government meetings and posts minutes on blackboard site.
Treasurer
Provides leadership to the budget of the Seim Hall Government. Works with the Seim Hall Director to create, track and maintain an accurate budget for the Seim Hall Government.
Programming Council Representative
Represents Seim Hall Government at the weekly RHA programming council meetings Wednesday afternoons at 6 PM. Helps to plan, implement and promote programs for all halls on campus with the programming council and keeps the Seim Hall government updated on what is happening at the programming council meetings.
RHA Representative
Represents Seim Hall at all RHA meetings (Mondays at 7 PM) and serves as a liaison between Seim Hall Government and the whole RHA body.
Floor Representative
Represents their specific floor at weekly hall government meetings. Floor representatives share important floor information or request at hall government meetings and report back to the residents on their floor about what happens at hall government. They also work with RAs with developing programming residents want to see in their hall.
Dining Services Representative
Represents Seim Hall at a monthly dining services meeting working toward the constant improvement of the Dining Services at NDSU.
