Discussion

Population change is determined by three factors. Births and deaths are the two factors that make up natural population change. The other component of population change is migration. Migration is measured between different geographies, such as movement between different states or movement between counties in one state (both considered "domestic" migration), or movement between countries (considered "international" or "foreign" migration).
