Aquatic Center Student Fee
This fee will create a new student fee and build an Aquatic Center that will be attached to the north end of the Wallmen Wellness Center. The fee will be implemented in two segments. The first will be implemented next academic year and the second will be implemented in the fall of 2016. The first segment will purchase a 30 year bond owned by the students of NDSU, the second fee is considered a maintenance fee and will provide necessary funds for the upkeep of the aquatic center.
The Fee Breakdown Is Below:
Fall 2013: First segment of fee:$2.43/Credit (maximum) = $29.16/semester for a full time studentFall 2016: Second segment of Fee:Additional $2.26/Credit (maximum) = $27.12/semester for a full time student
Total maximum combined fee fall of 2016: 56.28/semester for a full time student
Timeline:
Due to necessary ND legislative approval, groundbreaking cannot happen until the summer of 2015 or 2016. The estimated Grand Opening will depend on how soon groundbreaking happens, but is scheduled for the 2017 or 2018 school year.
