The L.E.A.D Platform
As the North Dakota State University Student Body President and Vice President for 2012-2013, we want to ensure that all of you are informed on the plans and vision we hope to bring forward in the coming year. In our experiences in Student Government throughout our years on campus, we both have come to see the opportunity we have as students to make an impact on our University. By combining creativity, cooperation and initiative we have little doubt that this institution can be brought to an even higher standard than it already holds.
The programs, initiatives and issues detailed in this proposal serve as the platform that brought us into these positions. There was much conversation between the two of us and students from around campus in the months leading up to the campaign season about which items should be brought forward. Throughout that process we became more and more confident that these ten points provide the highest benefit to NDSU students. The LEAD platform, listed below and fully explained in the following pages, has the potential to impact every single student that comes to this University.

To achieve success in any of these endeavors we will be relying heavily on collaboration. Partnerships with departments/organizations all across campus and teamwork within Student Government will be vital for bringing positive change to NDSU.
