The goal of the Class Gifts Committee is to establish a system on campus dedicated to establishing the value of philanthropy in NDSU students.
A successful class gift program requires committee members to concentrate on effective yearly campus fundraisers in an effort to raise the bar for class fundraising. Committee members begin making contact with classmates in the fall of each fiscal year. We will start with the Class of 2017 by forming a committee of freshman, focusing on inviting the Presidents of the respective Residence Halls as well as other interested students. This committee will then hold one to two fundraisers per year until their Senior year, when the class will submit gift ideas to the Student Senate who will in turn select the top 5 gift ideas. Then the senior class will vote on which gift they want to give back to the University.
