Position: Senator for the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences
Commissions/Committees: ASA Commission, Finance Advisory Board,
Spectrum Student Readership Advisory Board, Technology, University Senate
Hometown: St. Cloud, MN
Major: Pre-Pharmacy
Why you are proud to be a Bison:
I am proud to be a Bison for several
reasons: We have the best colors a campus can have (Yellow & Green), we
have the top mascot of the year (Thundar), we have an amazingly fast
growing campus, and we a campus that listens to its students on how to
make it a better place to live, learn, and enjoy the years we study at
NDSU.
Goals:
I have a lot of goals this year in Student Government, and I am
very optimistic at each one. First of all, my main goal is to represent
my constituents, my college, and the student body to my best ability.
Secondly, I would like to make SG better known and open to the student
body, working with outreach to strengthen the needs of the students. I am
concerned about recycling indoors, and I would like to see various
recycling receptacles in the various colleges and halls, not just the MU
or Residence Halls. I also want to look at better transportation services
for students on campus and off with the buses, taxi cab service, and a
possible yellow bike program. Lastly, I am also optimistic that SG can
have a roll working with Dining Services about donating unused hot food at
the end of a shift to various shelters and charities.
Other organization involvements: Pharmacy Dean’s Liaison Committee, RHA,
Thompson Hall Government (President)
