Staff Senate



The purpose of this scholarship is to serve as a source of financial support to dependents of North Dakota State University broadbanded staff. Scholarships will be awarded up to $500. To be eligible for this schoalrship, you must:
  • Be properly enrolled at least half-time at North Dakota State University at the time of application (April 3, 2015) and at the time of disbursement (Fall 2015).
  • Be a dependent of a benefited, broadbanded staff member who has been employed by NDSU for a minimum of one year by April 3, 2015.
  • Have completed 15 semester credits with a 2.5 cumulative GPA or above (including transfer credit).
  • Be enrolled as an undergraduate student.
  • Please complete this form by April 3, 2015. If you have any questions, please contact Daniel Erichsen at 701-231-5136. Selections will be made by the NDSU Staff Senate Scholarship Committee prior to fall semester. Funds will be disbursed at the beginning of fall semester.

    1) Please list any employment (part-time or full-time) from the 2014-2015 academic year. Include employer, position, start and end dates as well as hours per week for each position.
    2) List with dates any extracurricular activities and/or organizations in which you have been involved, including offices or leadership positions held, and/or honors received in conjunction with these activities since you began your college career.
    3) Please explain how your job experiences and/or extracurricular activities have had an effect on your life, your career decisions and/or your future.
    4) Please give a brief summary of your career objectives and/or your professional goals.
    5) Please explain why should you be considered for this scholarship?

    Staff Member's Information

    NDSU Staff Senate represents staff on matters and proposals that would improve the status of staff employees and improve communication between the staff and other university personnel.
