Graduate Degree Certificate Requirements

Program Description

Requirements for a graduate certificate in statistics consists of the following:

STAT 662 Introduction to Experimental Design - 3 credits
STAT 663* Nonparametric Statistics - 3 credits
STAT 725* Applied Statistics - 3 credits
STAT 726 Applied Regression & Analysis of Variance-3 credits

Total Number of Credits = 12

*A graduate level statistics course (pre-approved by the Chair of the Department of Statistics) may be substituted for STAT 663 &/or 725. Other substitutions may be allowed with prior approval by Chair.

Students need to apply to the graduate degree certificate program through the Graduate School. If you are currently a graduate student at NDSU, you should only have to pay the additional processing fee. Please contact the Graduate School for further information.
