Your Student's NDSU Experience

During your student's experience at NDSU, there may be several subjects you wish to learn more about so as to best assist your student. This section of Student Success Program's website is aimed at providing helpful tips and links so that you may be of optimal assistance.

Tip of the Month!

With the rush of midterms upon your student, be aware he/she may be under additional stress. Deciding upon next year's living arrangements may also contribute to your student's already high stress meter. Maybe your student feels down because the weather isn't getting any warmer. As a parent wanting to help your student, suggest a trip to the Wellness Center or suggest he/she arranges an appointment with someone at the Counseling Center. Even a quick call can be just the solution your student needs to fight those stressors off in a healthy manner!

Family Weekend

Thank you for your interest in NDSU’s Family Weekend.  Based on a needs assessment conducted in 2013, our efforts will shift from one specific weekend to more focused efforts to connect with families through electronic newsletters and a more active web presence with relevant and timely information for families.  We will highlight campus events that may be interesting for you to participate in and visit your student throughout the academic year.  If you have questions, please contact Student Success Programs at 1.800.488.6378 extension #2 or at 701.231.8379.  You can also email us at NDSU.parents
