New to NDSU?
Welcome! If you have just begun employment with NDSU or are returning, getting technology services started can be confusing. To support you, the ITS Help Desk has set up a Getting Started site that walks through all of the steps.
In addition, we have highlighted below the steps that are often prerequisites to services provided by Telecommunications and Emergency Support Technologies:
- Establish an account with the North Dakota University System - used for PeopleSoft, NDSU Outlook, etc.
- Establish an NDSU electronic ID - used for internal systems at NDSU such as Novell file sharing
- Set up NDSU faculty and staff email - uses NDSU Outlook
- You may also want to check out how to connect wirelessly at NDSU
Services offered to faculty and staff are listed in the section above. Those with an asterisk (*) are ones that you may find particularly helpful as a new or returning employee.
