Technology Fee Awards Announcement

The NDSU Technology Fee Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the awards of the Septemer 15, 2001, Call for Proposals. The recommendations of the committee were forwarded to Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Craig Schnell has approved the following proposal to receive funding support.
0117 - Archeology Technology Laboratory (ATL), Digital Archive Network for Anthropology (DANA), and World Wide Web Instructional Committee's Immersive Virtual Environments for Education (IVE) (Jeff Clark, Brian Slator) - $66,583
Collaboration between several disciplines showed efforts to encompass and benefit a large sector of students reseraching and performing leading-edge technology. The DANA project is a distributed network system for scholarly reserach and education in anthropology and related discipline, and provides for the IVE project essential materials, documents and 3D object archives and content databases, inconjunction with WWWIC game interfaces.
