FREE TECHNOLOGY TRAINING FOR STUDENTS - REGISTER FOR A CLASS TODAY!
Walk-in Services
- MULTIMEDIA - Get help with various multimedia activities, including video and audio editing and conversion.
- PLOTTING - Get help with creating and printing large format posters (plots).
- COURSEWORK - Get help with computer-related coursework and projects.
- SKILL-BUILDING - Learn basic or more advanced computer skills via individual
tutoring and self-paced learning materials available at the TLMC.
TLMC student learning assistants come from diverse academic fields and possess a wide range of computer
skills. Although all learning assistants can work with general computing topics, each learning assistant
has specific areas of expertise, which are posted in the lab.
TLMC learning assistants are not equipped to handle hardware repairs and do not support some
department-specific specialized software including Mathematica, SPSS, and SAS.
By-Appointment Services
- FACULTY RESOURCES - Instructors who plan to assign projects
that involve the use of technology (e.g., videos, Web sites, large format posters, publications) can
receive help with project planning, identifying best methods, and coordinating learning and support

- MEDIA STUDIO AND SERVICES - In addition to our
walk-in multimedia services, more specialized services are available upon request. A media studio,
located in IACC 150G, is equipped with an audio recording room and an area for video recording. To get
started with podcasting, audio or video recording, or digital conversion projects contact Sheree.Kornkven@ndsu.edu
Computer Classes
ITS offers FREE computer classes on a wide variety of popular software applications and technology
topics to NDSU students, faculty, and staff.
- Faculty and staff training is provided by Instructional Services.
- Student training is provided by students who work in the TLMC.
