The programs are offered by the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies and coordinated by the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute (UGPTI). Dr. Denver D. Tolliver is the Transportation & Logistics program director.

The UGPTI is a research and education center at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Recognized nationally for its contributions to small urban and rural transportation and logistics, the UGPTI educates people, conducts research and provides outreach. It provides the knowledge and tools needed for advancement and success in careers involving the movement of people and goods.
