NDSU T&L Attends UW Railroad Track Construction Course

NDSU Transportation & Logistics student Nimish Dharmadhikari attended the UW Railroad Track Construction Project Management course held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dharmadhikari found the real world railroad project management experience extremely valuable. He also had the opportunity to connect with people from a variety of railroad companies and contractors to learn about their field experiences. For Dharmadhikari, the course provided insight into the construction of railroads, paving the way for him to move forward in his research on railroads. The course pulled in information from the industry related project management to demonstrate real world application of the concepts, helping students understand how to manage a project from the earliest estimates through to completion.
