Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) assists students with child care costs. North Dakota State University's (NDSU) Office of TRIO Programs is offering assistance to student parents through CCAMPIS, a four-year grant program through the U.S. Department of Education.

Eligibility: CCAMPIS assists income-eligible student parents with child care expenses. CCAMPIS works with local accredited and licensed child care facilities. Students taking at least six credits who are receiving a Pell Grant are eligible for CCAMPIS funding. Personal circumstances will also be taken into consideration during the application process.

Application Process: When a student applies to CCAMPIS each semester, their application will be reviewed by the project director to determine eligibility and acceptance. The project director interviews prospective students who qualify with a Pell Grant and a licensed and accredited child care facilty. Selection will be based first on the student's Pell grant award, and then on any special circumstances of the student. CCAMPIS will cover between 70 and 90 percent of child care expenses.
