When does the Veterans Upward Bound Program begin?
Because instruction is individualized, veterans may enter the program any time they wish, day or evening, Monday through Friday. Most students attend full time, but quarter-time, half-time, or three-quarter-time attendance is possible.
How long will the program last?
The Veterans Upward Bound Program staff will adapt course work to meet a veteran's needs and schedule, so the length of the program varies. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace and remain in the program until they have accomplished their educational goals. The length of the program can vary considerably--depending upon a student's needs and goals--but on the average, veterans complete the program in three to four months.
