Native American Heritage Month Event: Global Unity Through Global Diversity

Billy Mills, 1964 U.S. Olympic gold medalist, former U.S. Marine, and current spokesperson for Running Strong for American Indian Youth, will share his heroic story on the track, his quest for more than a medal, and his work to inspire youth.

Ron Spriggs Exhibit of Tuskegee Airmen
Ron Spriggs, oral historian and eight-year U.S. Air Force veteran, will highlight the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, determined young men who enlisted to become America's first black military airmen and who overcame segregation in the defeat of the Axis Powers of WWII.
Reception to Honor NDSU Veterans
All are invited to attend to thank our staff, faculty, and student veterans for their service. The program will include recognition of the 60th anniversary of the Memorial Union, with messages from Calie Craddock, NDSU American Legion Post 400, Student Body President Robbie Lauf, and Student Body Vice President Erik Diederich.
