William Perrizo, Professor of Computer
Science at North Dakota State University, received his Ph.D., University
of Minnesota, M.S. from the University of Wisconsin and B.A. from St.
John's University. His research interests include data mining, database
systems, distributed database systems, high-speed communications networks,
precision agriculture and bioinformatics.
He has been principal investigator on over 3 million dollars in research grants and Co-principal investigator on another 7 million dollars in grants. He has published over 180 research papers.
Dr. Perrizo was awarded the 2001 Jordan A. Engberg Presidential
Professorship
for excellence in research and teaching. He has held position at Oregon
State
University and The University of Minnesota. He done research at IBM, The
U.S.
Air Force Electronic Systems Division, and AT&T. He is a member of
the ACM,
IEEE, ISCA and AAAI professional societies.
