Welcome
The Division of Equity, Diversity and Global Outreach oversees campus-wide efforts to create a community that is actively committed to inclusion and pluralism as well as a culture of international engagement. The office handles matters related to equity, diversity, and equal opportunity/affirmative action for the main campus including the ND Agricultural Experiment Station in Fargo, its research and extension centers throughout the state, and the North Dakota State University Extension Service including its county offices.
The Division is also charged with working to elevate the university’s current international initiatives and programs and develop new ones, enhance the university’s global recognition and strengthen the university’s activities and policies on international research and education.
Mission Statement:
The Division of Equity, Diversity, and Global Outreach serves the North Dakota State University campus, along with its alumni, community, and global neighbors. We value justice and unity. Through outreach and service, the division prepares global citizens by promoting acceptance, understanding, and respect for all cultures and fostering inclusive relationships.
