What has been the most positive experience for you at NDSU? One example from inside the classroom and one example from outside the classroom.

“Inside the classroom, the most positive experience for me has been the passion my professors teach with.
“Outside the classroom, my most positive experience was probably last spring’s flood, although it probably was not a positive experience for many home owners. Seeing the overwhelming turnout for volunteers to help was an amazing experience. “

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

“Never be afraid to ask for help.  College can be so overwhelming and it is so much different than high school. NDSU has a plethora of resources to help students who are struggling with a class or just need to improve study habits.”

Activities:

Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, Chemistry Club, Pre-Med Club, Greek Programming Council and Chi Alpha, a Christian organization on campus.

Something most people don’t know about you:

“I create websites. When I was little, I would get bored at times and take tutorials online on HTML and JavaScript … I also have a tattoo, I’ve had it since I was 18. It’s on my ankle. My mom, sister and I all got one. It’s a trinity symbol, meaning three in one, all connected.”

What surprised you most about NDSU:

“One of the biggest surprises has been how close knit you can become. I came from a school with 11 students in my graduating class (Midway High School, just outside of Grand Forks). We were all best friends. When I came here, I figured it would be so hard to make friends because it’s such a big school … it’s weird but it seems the larger the school, the easier it is to make friends. At least, that’s the case here at NDSU.”
