Public Web, or PubWeb, provides hosting services for university departments (business units, operational teams and service lines), Ag Extension and affiliates, individual faculty and staff members, and students organizations with sponsorship of a faculty member.
Accounts are not provided for individual students; however, instructors and work supervisors may request accounts for students to satisfy their NDSU academic or NDSU employment work.

Departments and business units with specific business needs that require their own server should work with Enterprise Computing & Infrastructure (ECI) - SLAs to coordinate placement, network connectivity, and addressing.
Installation of custom servers is also coordinated with the NDSU IT Security Officer to ensure the security of data and systems, and compliance with NDSU and North Dakota University System policies.
