Web.Master
NDSU's official basic template for XHTML, CSS, 508, and AAA compliant pages.

North Dakota state policy requires all web-based information and services to be accessible pursuant to federal and state law (see ITD Web Standards & Policies section).

North Dakota State University recognizes the importance and value of its web site. The volumes of data that NDSU's site contains, and all of its publishers and content providers, make it difficult to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of Title IV of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. At present, the accessibility of NDSU in compliance with ADA and Section 508 is limited to NDSU's main site, main subpages and a few departments. North Dakota however, continues to monitor the issues of NDSU and ADA compliancy to meet the state and federal accessibility.

Our current main page and subpages (undergraduate, graduate, faculty and staff, alumni and friends), as well as a few other sites are fully compliant thanks to the use of clean XHTML and CSS code. That's why we have made the following basic template accessible for download as it can help you start/update your department/office web site.

The following sites use the same basic template as their main structure and all their content is contained within the <div id="content"> tag, all position, layout and design is handled by CSS (cascading style sheets):
