Full spectrum of primary health care, including but not limited to evaluation and treatment of:
- Respiratory, urinary tract, skin and other common infections
- Asthma, hypertension, elevated cholesterol and other common chronic health conditions
- Gastrointestinal problems
- Gynecological problems
- Mental health disorders including depression, anxiety conditions and ADD
- Orthopedic injuries and other sports related problems
- Removal of warts and other simple skin lesions
- Laceration repair
- Sexually transmitted infection screening
- HIV counseling and testing

Medical Laboratory Services
The NDSU Health Service Laboratory is
a CLIA certified laboratory staffed by licensed laboratory professionals.

The NDSU Counseling Center offers workshops on a variety of topics related to health and wellness.
Services Not Offered at NDSU Student Health Service
Transportation: Transportation is not provided for students needing
a ride to the Student Health Service (SHS). As well, the SHS will not
provide transportation from a student's residence to a hospital or clinic.
House Calls: Student Health Service personnel and providers do
not make "house" calls to residence halls or apartments.

X-Rays: Radiology services are not available at the Student Health Service.
Optometry: The "yellow pages" contains a list of optometrists in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Emergency Care: Dial "911" in all instances of medical emergency. Do not delay urgent treatment by attempting to bring a patient to the Student Health Service.
