Cast-away Fishing Camp

June 4-8, 2017

Ages: 10 and older

Camper Limit: 30 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300          

Camp Description: Ever wanted to fish your heart out?  This camp is for youth who love to fish. Fish every day of this camp on some of the best fishing lakes in the state. In the evenings campers will do tackle crafting, learn fishing knots, and how to use fish biology to increase their catch and more.  Transportation and bait is supplied.

Livestock Camp

June 4-8, 2017

Ages: 8 and older

Camper Limit: 30 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300        

Camp Description: Learn how to show and fit your livestock in preparation for your county fair or achievement day! Learn to groom, clip, and show a variety of livestock. A showmanship contest will be held and awards will be given. We will test your knowledge of livestock with quiz bowl activities. Everyone will make a rope halter to take home. Campers are encouraged to bring their own animals (no rabbits or swine). You will note which species to bring during the online registration.

Just Starting to Ride: Wish I Had a Horse Camp

June 4-8, 2017

Ages: 8 - 10

Camper Limit: 15 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300              

Camp Description: Have you always wanted a horse? This camp is for you, come learn how to saddle, bridle, ride, lead and care for a horse. From grooming demonstrations to a halter show, this if your chance to experience what owning a horse is like. This is a beginner camp for youth interested in horses; an animal is not required.

Completing the Pattern: Horse Camp

June 11-15, 2017

Ages: 11 and older

Camper Limit: 25 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300             

Camp Description: Learn how to improve your riding skills and practice common 4-H horse show classes such as showmanship, equitation, horsemanship, trail and games. Youth will learn about horse nutrition, training, selection and general care. Riding instruction will focus on improving the riders overall balance and control. Campers must provide their own horse and horse must be a well-trained, mannered horse in a group setting away from home. The camper must be able to saddle, bridle, and ride their horse at a lope.

Express Yourself! Camp

June 11-15, 2017

Ages: 8 and older

Camper Limit: 35 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300 

Camp Description: Want to unleash the creative genius in you? Come Express Yourself at camp where we will be working with different art mediums, dipping our toes into the theater and making homemade items.  We will also have time for a Pinterest inspired project or two. And of course we will have time for campfires, s’more’s, dances and so much more.

Create It: Science, Photography, Woodworking Camp

June 11-15, 2017

Ages: 8 and older

Camper Limit: 25 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300              

Camp Description: Are you a tinkerer or like to try new things? This camp was made for you! Make new friends in the 4-H Camp studio. Participate in a variety of science, photography and wood working workshops to generate your own creations. You will be able to explore outdoors and participate in many other fun camp!

Clover Camp I

June 16-17, 2017

Check in starts at 11 a.m. on Friday
Camp ends at 1 p.m. on Saturday

Ages: 5-9

Camper Limit: 70 campers and adults

Early Bird Fee $150, Regular Fee $175

Camp Description: Have you always wanted to try out 4-H Camp? Bring your parent or guardian and discover 4-H fun at camp! Together you will make new friends, explore the outdoors and appreciate one-on-one time in a beautiful outdoor setting. Campfire, crafts and exciting 4-H project activities await, let the adventure begin! Your parent or guardian can to camp and come see why 4-H campers have so much fun!

Parents must register also register for Clover Camp (the invoice will reflect $0.00 as your registration fee is rolled in with your child's registration fee). Parents will go through our Youth Protection Policy screening before their registration is approved. If you have any questions regarding this process please call 701-231-7259.

Shooting Sports Camp

June 18-22, 2017

Ages: 11 and older

Camper Limit: 35 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300

Camp Description: Explore activities that will connect you to the outdoors. From hunting skills challenges to fishing, this camp will explore aspects of outdoor skill projects. Hands on live-fire exercises in the shooting disciplines and team challenges will make this camp an experience you will not forget.

Adventure Camp I

June 18-22, 2017

Ages: 11 and older

Camper Limit: 35 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300

Camp Description: Are you looking for an adventure? Do you like a variety of activities? Stimulate your creativity with arts and crafts projects.  Enjoy your wild side by exploring along the Missouri River walking trails and our new pollinator garden.  Make lasting friendships while engaging in 4-H project activities. From archery to water games, this camp is full of non-stop fun and excitement!

Ultimate Explorer: Survivor Outdoor Recreation Camp I

June 25-29, 2017

Ages: 10-12

Camper Limit: 45 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300

Camp Description: Could you survive in the wilds of ND? Nature provides for all our basic needs, so come have fun building shelters, tracking animals, discovering cool and exciting wilderness skills like fishing and orienteering. Youth will participate in after dark challenges and compete in team building activities to win the coveted ND 4-H Camp Idol. Campers will sleep outside in a tent one night.

Bullseye Archery Camp

July 9-13, 2017

Ages: 10 and older

Camper Limit: 20 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300              

Camp Description: Is archery your passion?   This camp is designed to improve your shooting skills. Youth will participate in in 3-D, World Federation Archery Field Archery, and NFAA Field Archery.  Archers will make an archery target butt.  Archery challenges and recreation will make for a full week of fun and skill development. Youth can bring their own equipment.

You're the Chef Camp

July 9-13, 2017

Ages: 10 and older

Camper Limit: 20 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300              

Camp Description: You’re the Chef, ages 10 and up preferred: Here’s your chance to become a top-notch chef in the outdoors! We will spend a majority of our time outdoor cooking and dabble in food preservation, baking and other food challenges. This camp is designed for youth who love cooking. It’s your chance to become familiar with kitchen equipment, measuring, terms, and judging food items. Be prepared to build a fire, grill and sample great treats!

Ultimate Explorer: Survivor Outdoor Recreation Camp II

Camp Description: Experience life on the wild side testing your survival skills. From after dark challenges to competitions, team building, leadership and self-confidence will be the ultimate outcome while competing to win the coveted ND 4-H Camp Idol. Nightly tribal council ceremonies will result in a reward of privileges.

Adventure Camp II

July 16-20, 2017

Ages: 8-12

Camper Limit: 55-70 Campers

Early Bird Fee: $275, Regular Fee: $300

Camp Description: Are you looking for an adventure or like to try different activities? Enjoy your wild side by exploring along the Missouri River walking trails and our new pollinator garden. Spark your imagination with art and science projects and make lasting friendships. From archery and fishing (or water activities) to night games and campfires, this camp is full of non-stop fun and excitement!

Each additional child: $65

Camp Description: Have you always wanted to try out 4-H Camp? This is a great first-time overnight camp experience designed to introduce youth to fun 4-H project activities and overnight camping. Come make new friends, explore the outdoors, and appreciate one on one time together in a beautiful outdoor setting. Participate in craft projects and many other fun camp activities. Bring a parent or guardian with you to camp and come see why campers have so much fun at camp!

Military Camp I

July 30-August 3, 2017

Camp Description: Develop your self-confidence, problem solving, and stress management skills while forming lifelong bonds with other military youth. Leadership, cooperation and communication skills will be taught through team building activities such as friendly competitions, water fun, and much more!

Military Camp II

July 30-August 3, 2017

Ages: 12-15

Camper Limit: 35 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300             

Camp Description: Strengthen your leadership and problem solving skills completing action packed activities while forming life long bonds with other military youth. Develop self-confidence, communication and stress-management skills through team building activities such as friendly competitions, water fun, and much more! 

 

 

Adventure Camp III: The "Who Dun'it" Mystery Camp

August 6-10, 2017

Ages: 8 and up

Camper Limit: 45 Campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300             

Camp Description: Learn how real-life investigators solve forensic cases. Youth will be part of a mystery that they must solve before camp ends. Campers will be a part of collecting evidence, the basics of fingerprinting, DNA analysis, police investigative techniques and more. The camp will end with a dress-up mystery dinner, in which campers will try to solve the camp mystery using evidence they collected throughout the week!

 

 

Junk'in, Reuse and Recycle Camp

August 6-10

Ages: 10 and up

Camper limit: 20 campers

Early Bird Fee $275, Regular Fee $300           

Camp Description: Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Design It! Learn the principles of design and test your creativity to make home décor and other items using recyclable materials. Learn how to reduce, reuse and recycle in your community. Make lifelong friends, explore the outdoors and participate in many other fun camp recreation activities!
