North Dakota 4-H Ambassador Alumni
Let's Get Back In Touch!
For many of us time has gone by quickly from the days that we were in the North Dakota 4-H Ambassador Program. Several of us still call North Dakota home, while others have moved to different areas of the United States, if not the World.
We are currently in the process of updating the Ambassador Alumni database. This database will be used for planning future alumni events such as reunions and other Alumni gatherings and used as a resource for the 4-H program.
Please take a moment to provide your
information to get back in touch with old friends.
Exerpt from the ND 4-H Ambassador newsletter, Fall 1973:
The All-Nighter (at Institute) began in the Old Field House with a Little Olympics. Some of the events were three-legged races, tug-of-war, and basketball shooting contests. This was followed by a carnival with a kissing booth, apple bobbing, fortune telling, other various activities and of course ice cream and caramel apples. A continental breakfast was served at 6:00 a.m. before the 4-H'ers boraded the buses for home.
Excerpt from the ND 4-H Ambassador newsletter, July 21, 1987:
Lions, tigers and bears...and pink flamingos? Yes, folks, the 1987 Ambassador Safari Hunt gets underway at Heart Butte Farmers Union Camp, August 14-16 with new Ambassador Orientation...The Ambassador program has accomplisheed many goals in the past. Our goal for this year is to improve our organization and communication within the program and to have fun too!
