Transfer Campus Visits

A campus visit is one of the best ways to get a feel for NDSU. Schedule a Daily Visit, attend a Transfer Preview Day, or participate in Discover NDSU. You’ll meet with admission staff to discuss the transfer process, tour campus with a current student, and meet with faculty in your intended major (when available).

Daily Visits

Transfer students are highly encouraged to make an appointment to visit campus one to two semesters before applying to NDSU. Daily visits may include a meeting with an admission counselor to discuss your transfer credit, a campus tour with a current student and, when possible, a meeting with a faculty member in your area(s) of academic interest. To schedule a daily visit, please use our Transfer Student Visit Request or call us at 701-231-8643 or 800-488-NDSU.

Individual tours and appointments will be available on a very limited basis on October 21 and 22. Please consider scheduling individual visits for another date, or participating in Discover NDSU on October 23.

NDSU will be closed on November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day.

Daily Visits are not available October 15, 16 and 23. Please consider participating in Discover NDSU.

Transfer Preview Days

Special group programs have been scheduled for transfer students to learn more about the transfer process and the evaluation of your credits. The program runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes an opportunity to have your transcript(s) evaluated. Transfer Student Visits Days for 2015-2016 are:

  • Saturday, October 3, 2015
  • Saturday, February 6, 2016

Please call 701-231-8643 or 800-488-NDSU to make your reservation or make your reservation online. You will be sent a detailed schedule, campus map and parking information.
