Brock Gion Joins Big Data Pipeline Unit

Brock Gion has joined the North Dakota State University Agriculture Experiment Station Big Data Pipeline Unit as the full Stack Developer and Extension Software Engineer. He will provide technical leadership and develop web and mobile applications for large data sets produced by researchers at all levels and locations. 

Gion completed a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Computer Science at NDSU. He is currently working on a M.S. in Software Engineering. He has ten years of experience working in web development, information technology support and project management. 

Originally from Regent, ND, Gion loves outdoor activities and sports and is a former NDSU Bison football player. He is a member of the NDSU Precision Ag Club and also enjoys flying drones.
