My husband, Steve, and our sons, Keith and Sam, live outside of Northfield, Minnesota where we run a small CSA farm and have 4-H projects gone wild. We also assist on my family farm near Tracy, Minnesota and Steve's cousin's farm near Tolstoy, South Dakota.
I worked for nearly 20 years for the Minnesota Farm Bureau as the Communications/Public Relations/Foundation director. Prior to that I worked for the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce as their director of Agricultural Programs.
My experience includes working as a 4-H assistant in Wisconsin and as a research assistant while at SDSU in the areas of weeds and ruminant nutrition.
