I am interested in child, adolescent, and young adult self-esteem and motivation in science, technology, engineering, and technology (STEM). I am specifically interested in the factors that contribute to female success in the STEM fields, and the factors that contribute to female failure in the STEM fields. I believe mentoring contributes a great deal to self-esteem and motivation and am also interested in how to effectively mentor young individuals.
Previously I was a employed as: Fixed Term Instructor, (Aug. 2014- May 2016), Psychology Department, Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Assistant Professor, (Aug. 2012- May 2014), Psychology Department, Mayville State University.
