Accelerating soybean innovation through cross-disciplinary research and collaboration


Purpose

The symposium strategically bridges multiple disciplines: soybean agronomy, breeding, and new uses research to foster collaboration, build exchanges and develop new networks for cutting edge soybean research. Researchers present their research - in plain language - to expand opportunities for collaboration.

Online registration is closed, but you may register in-person March 27.

Submissions closed February 29th, 2024. 

Submit an abstract of your soybean-related research for a chance to present, either as a poster or an oral presentation.  Students are eligible to win a cash prize and contribute to the future of the soybean industry.

 

Keynote Speaker

 

Headshot of Matt Herman

Matt Herman is the chief officer of demand and advocacy at the Iowa Soybean Association. He is passionate about leveraging policy to support a more productive, profitable, and sustainable soybean rotation. To expand opportunities Matt bridges the divide between policymakers, scientists, and industry.

Matt has worked in private and public roles including at Renewable Energy Group (now Chevron), BIO, & Clean Fuels Alliance America (CFAA) Matt went to Iowa State University where he studied policy and bioenergy.
