LaMoure County 4-H Achievement Days
Don’t miss out on the fun during LaMoure County 4-H Achievement Days June 27 – 29! Judging of static exhibits will take place at the BankNorth Mall this year on Monday, June 27 from 1-5 p.m. The LaMoure Lions will serve up a delicious BBQ at 5:30 p.m. at Sunset Park and you will be able to catch the 4-H Showcase where youth exhibit their favorite projects starting at 6 p.m. The exhibit hall will be open for public viewing of exhibits following the show.
But the fun doesn’t end there. On Tuesday, June 28, the 4-H Small Animal Show will start at 10 a.m. followed by the EXPLORE 4-H event from 1-2 p.m. This is an event with hands-on activities for non 4-H’ers to have fun and explore the adventures of 4-H. The 4-H Barn is located east of Townsend Field in LaMoure. The 4-H Horse Show will take place at Bear Creek Roughriders Arena in Oakes at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29. All are welcome to attend.
Believe it or not, when you visit the 4-H Barn, share a burger with 4-H’ers, or even view the exhibits at the Community Room, it sends a strong message to our youth that their communities are proud of their efforts. We sure hope to see you at one or all of the events during LaMoure County 4-H Achievement Days.
Requests for accommodations related to disability should be made to the event contact person at least two weeks in advance of the event.
