Gunlogson Endowment - Open Call for Proposals
The ND Institute for Regional Studies has funds available year-round through the Gunlogson Endowment to support small projects using the archives of the Institute and/or seeking to publish works with the Institute Press. For additional information, see the Gunlogson Fund Open Call for Proposals.
"G. B." (short for Gunnlauger Bjarni) Gunlogson, born and raised on a farmstead in rural North Dakota, was a tireless advocate of rural preservation of heritage and natural environments. His contributions to agricultural and mechanical invention are significant in the region's history. His remarkable legacy, values, and ethics live on in endowed programs including NDSU's Gunlogson Endowment, which is intended to support the publications and archives of the Institute for Regional Studies, advance general university outreach through Institute-related activities, and enhance NDSU’s land-grant mission though Institute projects that preserve the cultural history of North Dakota.
