The ND Institute for Regional Studies has funds available through the Gunlogson Endowment to support small projects using the archives of the Institute and/or seeking to publish works with the Institute Press. Funding is awarded annually and applications are due by the first Friday of September.  

The purpose of these funds is:
- support the publications and archives of the North Dakota Institute for Regional Studies.
- advance general university outreach through Institute-related activities.
- enhance NDSU's land-grant mission through Institute projects that preserve the cultural heritage of North Dakota.
