NDSU respiratory care program to receive national recognition

Congratulations to NDSU’s Respiratory Care program in partnership with Sanford Medical Center-Fargo! The program is among a select group that will receive the Distinguished RRT Credentialing Success Award from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) in July.

NDSU students in respiratory care complete two years of academic courses and a 15-month full-time professional internship at Sanford Medical Center-Fargo.

Award criteria include outcomes, accreditation without a progress report, meeting or exceeding registered respiratory therapist credentialing success of 90 percent or more, student retention and on-time graduation rate. The achievement award does not imply CoARC endorsement or ranking of the program in relation to other CoARC-accredited programs.
