Research and Interest:
Stephen Wischer is an Associate Professor of Architecture where his teaching of seminar and design studio courses emphasize interdisciplinary relationships between history, theory and architectural representation. Professor Wischer’s artwork and architectural investigation involve intensive process-based exploration, which have been exhibited in Canada and the United States. His doctoral research at McGill University explores relationships of theory and practice on architectural representation through the study of Anselm Kiefer’s situated art practice. His research has been presented and published internationally.
