Research Interests

The focus of my research is to develop an Unmanned Aerial System (i.e., drone) that will elicit anti-predatory behavior in birds as a means to effectively protect crops from bird depredation.

Why He Came to NDSU Biological Sciences:

I chose the NDSU Department of Biological Sciences because it would provide the opportunity to improve my abilities as a researcher and as an instructor. I completed the College Teaching Certificate program which was useful for remodeling my approach to teaching.

Future Plans:

Ultimately, I want to pursue a career in academia. Preferably, I will find a position with a college or university that has a wildlife biology or ecology program.

Student Focused. Land Grant. Research University.
