Kari Klettke is the Career Coach for any current student within the College of Business. Kari can assist with College of Business career exploration, internship & job search assistance, creating resumes & cover letters, graduate school application assistance, interview tips & tricks, creating LinkedIn profiles, career fair preparation, and any other career planning need. She also directs the College of Business student mentoring program, which is called Business Connections.
Prior to her position as a Career Coach at NDSU, Kari worked as the Director of Career Services at Valley City State University. She has also worked at several other institutions, both at the community college level and university level. Her career has included various positions doing career counseling, mental health and rehabilitation counseling, disability services work, teaching, advising and recruiting. Her graduate degree is in Counseling (Student Affairs in Higher Education emphasis), from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and she has a specialist certification in Marriage & Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
